Margaret Case of Rochester Wins The June 13 Finger Lakes $1,000 Hit the Board Eliminator Challenge
Congratulations to Margaret Case of Rochester, the winner of the June 13, 2009 Finger Lakes $1,000 Hit the Board Eliminator Challenge! The competition was strong this afternoon as over 300 out of 339 contestants successfully hit the board in the first contest race. However, Margaret outlasted them all with a finish of 4 wins, 4 places, and 1 show to claim the $800 top prize. Two other contestants also managed to hit the board in all nine races, but fell short in the tiebreaker. Margaret Case is a two time winner of the Finger Lakes Hit the Board Eliminator Challenge also having won in the November, 2008 event.
Our next $1,000 Hit the Board Eliminator Challenge will take place on Saturday, June 20th. Gates open at 11:30 am with post time 1:10pm. Entry forms are free and will be available at The Player Extras Station in the Upper Grandstand on the day of the contest. Good luck to all our contestants!
